How can I request feedback on my paper?
Use our online form to schedule an appointment.
The form will ask you to choose a date and time when one of our tutors is available. Our tutor will review your paper during the one-hour time frame you select, and you should receive an email with feedback by the end of that hour. For example, if you select, 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22nd, the tutor will begin reviewing your paper at 3:00 p.m. You should receive your feedback around 4:00 p.m., at the email address you provided.
We can only review documents up to 5 pages long. If you send us a longer document, please let us know which part of it you want us to review.
How to make the most of your session
Save time for revision. While we are willing to help you the night before your paper is due, our advice will be more useful if you have plenty of time to apply it.
Ask for help more than once for the same paper. If one session can help you improve your essay, imagine how strong your paper will be after a second round of feedback.
Will you tell my teacher about my session?
Yes, but only if you ask us to do so. Our tutors always write up a quick summary our sessions (so they can remember you if you come back).
If you want your teacher to see a summary of the session, let us know. On the "schedule an appointment" form, make sure you give us your teacher's name and email address.
If you don't give us your teacher's name and email, we will not send any information to your teacher.
